Different people, different choice. And I respect that. When I was in college, I met Zack Snyder. Well not in person, but with his movies. As of now, I have watched all his directed movies.
I just opened the blog and suddenly started thinking what should I write and I got the name Zack Snyder and thought let's write something about him. Let's write about the best Zack Snyder directed movie.
Though if you search everywhere, you'll see Justice League Snyder Verse rated the highest as Zack Snyder's best movie. But, there is another Zack Snyder movie which people watched a lot and it's always going to be in their mind, but because of moving time and so many options, that movie didn't get much hype and probably won't get it ever.
The way we got the Justice League Snyder Verse, well if they released it in Netflix and made it a 5 or 6 episode series, it would have been great. Presenting the story from a comic book, showing as much as possible into the screen, crafting it with your brilliance and present it within 2 or maximum 3 hours time is awesome right? This is what we are used to. But Justice League watch time is oh, huge. I won't say I didn't like it. I loved it. But this is not the best way to get it.
Another reason to like the movie is characters - Superman, Batman , Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg well what else. People would pay anything to watch these characters together. Because they are pure love. Good or bad, we will decide later. But sure people going to watch them.
Zack Snyder did real good job with the movie. Even though the watch time lengthy, it's still worth it. But we have to talk about the best. And, the best is, the best Zack Snyder movie is - none other than - 300. Kidding, no, it's definitely not 300.
The best Zack Snyder directed movie is - Watchmen (2009) . Well well, what can I say. Probably because of the time it got released, people just waking up and they are not ready to take some characters that called Rorschach, or Night owl, or Dr. Manhattan or I don't know the exact reason why people didn't liked it much.
I don't know why the movie didn't do well in the box office as well as critics slammed it. Jesus, sometimes I do really think people have issues you know. Anyway, lets forget about them.
Now, where should I start? Let's start with what happens when you search Watchmen 2009 in Google, you get this - "Rorschach, a vigilante, sets out to investigate the mysterious circumstances under which one of his colleagues died. In the process of doing so, he discovers some disturbing secrets."
What do you make of it? Nothing. Absolutely nothing about movie but interesting. When you are going to watch it, the experience is completely different. Just like a good trailer of a movie. The movie run time is also good, and each and every character we got, bit by bit, we got introduced with them in a proper way. How powerful they are, what they want, what they can do etc.
The first Justice League movie which got rejected by the fans and critics, unable to provide it. The characters just introduced without any of there story. But here in Watchmen, Zack made the movie like an artist. The tales of the black freighter, some people still don't understand why he used it in the movie.

The performance of Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach, god, oh my god, that is an actual Oscar worthy performance. The movie is brutal and brilliant. I think it was way ahead of it's time, that is why people got confused.
For me, if we are talking about Super hero movies, I am always going to keep it in the first five of my selection. This movie is a proof how good Zack Snyder is as a director. If you want anything to share, please tell me in the comment section.
